Abstract
In rheumatoid arthritis (RA), sympathetic predominance and reduced parasympathetic regulation contribute to the persistence of the inflammatory process [1, 2]. As-sessing autonomic tone and reactivity using simple and objec-tive methods is important for monitoring treat-ment efficacy.
