For hospitals and residency programmes
Prognia gives every department one place to teach and talk, and every resident study that sticks: spaces with a classroom, a shared calendar, flashcards that return before they fade and answers that name their source. No patient data, no ads, your data stored in the EU.

Optional. We’ll use it to fill in this page and your booking.

A new group of residents and students arrives every few months. The teaching schedule is a photo of a noticeboard, announcements sink between the memes of five group chats, and the question you answered last month gets asked again. When the rotation ends, nobody can show what was taught, or what stuck.
One place that already knows your departments, your residents and the people who teach them.
Prognia is four connected apps for doctors and medical students on one account: Prognia for teams, teaching and calls, Ward for study, Suture for notes and Osler for answers with sources. It works in any modern browser and in English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish.
When a resident adds your hospital to their profile, Prognia suggests your department’s space. A hospital team space lets people in only after a member approves them, so the team stays the team. Course and cohort spaces open by themselves.
Your hospital is one of 20,649 hospitals and 1,113 health systems in 172 countries in our directory.

Post tomorrow’s teaching once. Residents tap to confirm they have read it, and you see how many have.
A question asked in the space gets an accepted answer that stays with it, so the next rotation finds it instead of asking again.
Share a Ward deck or a Suture page as an assignment. Progress shows only as a group total, and only once three people have finished, so nobody is singled out.
Schedule teaching as a call in the space, with a waiting room, and it lands in Rota, the calendar residents can subscribe to in Apple, Google or Outlook.

Teaching and managing are separate roles: a consultant can teach in a space without having to run it.

Residents turn what they learn into flashcards in Ward, which brings each card back just before they would forget it: tomorrow, then after 6, 16, 45 and 131 days. A Suture page from a teaching session can become a set of flashcards. Ward knows specialty exams such as the MRCP, MRCS, MRCGP and the Facharztprüfung by name, and imports existing Anki decks for free, review history included.
Example. The intervals are calculated with Ward’s own scheduler (SM-2), starting from a new card.
How spaced repetition worksOsler answers the way an experienced colleague would, and numbers every claim so it opens its source: an international guideline, a Cochrane review, a study on PubMed. It is a reference and learning tool. It does not diagnose and does not give treatment advice: your doctors remain the doctors. Next to it sit 135 clinical calculators and a medicine library of 106,586 medicines from 12 registers.
Why is SABA-only treatment no longer recommended in asthma?
A short-acting β2-agonist (SABA) relieves symptoms but leaves the airway inflammation untreated, and SABA-only treatment is linked to more severe exacerbations and, with heavy use, a higher risk of asthma death . GINA therefore recommends that adults and adolescents always receive treatment containing an inhaled corticosteroid, with as-needed low-dose ICS-formoterol as the preferred reliever . A Cochrane review found that as-needed ICS-formoterol roughly halves exacerbations needing systemic corticosteroids compared with a reliever alone . In the SYGMA 1 trial, as-needed budesonide-formoterol lowered the rate of severe exacerbations by 64% compared with as-needed terbutaline .

Read our privacy policyPrognia is for teaching, study and coordination. It has no link to your EHR, and nothing that identifies a patient belongs in it.

We show no advertising, never sell data and run no third-party analytics or tracking.
Our privacy policy lists each service provider that handles personal data, where it is based and how data is transferred. Some, such as our hosting and AI providers, are in the United States, under Standard Contractual Clauses.

In English, by video. Tell us about your departments, your rotations and what you want residents to keep. You leave knowing whether Prognia fits your department and what a first step would look like.
We set up your team and teaching spaces with you, and your residents join with free accounts. The pilot costs nothing.
After one rotation, about three months, we look together at what was used and what to change, then decide on the next department.
Residents can start free today, on their own. The call is for when you want it to work for a whole department.
No. Prognia is for teaching, study and team coordination, and it never connects to patient records. Nothing that could identify a patient belongs in it.
In the EU: Prognia’s database, sign-in and file storage run in Frankfurt, Germany. AI features send the text of a request to the AI model providers listed in our privacy policy to generate an answer.
No. Prognia does not process patient data, and we will go through your security and privacy questionnaire with you in detail.
Not today. Everyone signs in with their own Prognia account, by email, Apple or Google.
Tell us what your privacy officer needs in the call. Today each person holds their own account under our privacy policy, which names every processor.
Every resident can start free: the Prognia network is always free, and Ward, Suture and Osler each have a free plan. For an individual, Pro starts at $4.99 a month per app. A first pilot with one department is free; what comes after, we discuss in the call.
No. Osler is a reference and learning tool: it shows where every claim comes from, it does not diagnose or give treatment advice, and your doctors remain the doctors.
