Evaluation of Intra-Rater & Inter-Rater Reliability of Indian Stroke Scale Measuring Participation in Daily Activities among Stroke Patients in India
By Prajyot Pattanshetti and T Sureshkumar.
Abstract
Background
Stroke can lead to limitations in mobility, self-care, domestic activities, and participation in daily life. Assessment of participation is important for planning and monitoring rehabilitation. The Indian Stroke Scale (ISS) was developed to assess participation in daily activities among individuals with stroke in the Indian sociocultural context. However, limited evidence is available regarding its intra-rater and inter-rater reliability.
