Abstract
Background
Low density lipoprotein cholesterol and hypertension are established vascular risk factors, but their associations with stroke subtype require careful evaluation in hospital based populations.
Objectives
To examine associations of LDL cholesterol and hypertension with ischemic versus other stroke diagnoses among hospitalized stroke patients.
