Abstract
Objective
The objective of this study was to evaluate operative times in robotic-assisted knee arthroplasty procedures performed by a group of specialist surgeons, aiming to identify and understand the overall learning curve in this context.
Methods
Patients included in this study were organized according to the responsible surgeon and the date on which the knee arthroplasty procedure was performed. Data from seven different surgeons were analyzed. To assess the chronological order of the procedures, surgeries were classified in ascending order, from the earliest to the most recent, according to the date on which they were performed. In addition, the time spent in each surgical step was recorded, and the mean time for each stage was calculated considering all surgeons. Quantitative variables were analyzed using measures of central tendency and dispersion, including mean, standard deviation, and median.
