By Chen X, Lin X, Xie H and 3 others.
Abstract
Aim
To explore the current status of benefit finding (BF) in maintenance haemodialysis patients and identify its key influencing factors.
Design
A cross-sectional study.
Methods
A total of 250 maintenance haemodialysis patients were recruited via convenience sampling from the blood purification centres of two Grade A tertiary hospitals between September 2024 and March 2025. Data were collected using a general information questionnaire, the BF Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale and the Life Orientation Test-Revised. One-way analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted to explore the associations and influencing factors of BF.
