Abstract
Purpose
To construct a standardized whole-process management model for liver cancer patients undergoing Yttrium-90 selective internal radiation therapy (Y-90 SIRT) and evaluate its clinical efficacy, safety and impact on medical resource utilization. Patients and methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients with primary or secondary liver malignancies who received Y-90 SIRT at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University between August 2022 and October 2025. Patients were assigned to a control or an intervention group according to the timing of model implementation. Adverse events (AEs), psychological status, satisfaction, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), length of hospital stay (LOS) and hospitalization costs were compared between groups.
