By Oliveira MJA, Silva MAMD, Rodrigues AB and 5 others.
Abstract
Objective
to develop and analyze the validity evidence of the constitutive and operational definitions of health vulnerability for pregnant women in relation to vertical transmission of syphilis.
Methods
a psychometric study, based on the Health Vulnerability Model, protocols from the Ministry of Health, updating the scoping review and conducting a concept analysis. Content validity evidence was analyzed by ten judges. The Content Validity Ratio was used to select operational definitions with a score equal to or greater than 0.8.
Results
the dimensions were divided into nine subdimensions with 17 subconcepts, highlighting "health-disease situation", "knowledge", "attitude", "self-care", "lifestyle", "cultural differences", "social support", "situations of sexual, physical, verbal, and psychological violence", "discrimination", and "general gender inequalities". Final considerations: the definitions obtained good validity evidence indices. Thirty operational definitions were developed for construct assessment.
