Abstract
Objective
This study aimed to investigate knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) regarding postoperative rehabilitation among patients undergoing biliary surgery and their family members.
Methods
A single-center cross-sectional survey was conducted between June and September 2025 at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. A self-designed, expert-reviewed questionnaire covering knowledge (8 items), attitudes (8 items), and practices (6 items) was administered to patients undergoing biliary surgery and their family members. The sample comprised 205 patients and 213 family members involved in postoperative care. Data were collected via the Wenjuanxing platform (a WeChat-based survey tool) and analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM).
