Predictors of remission in acromegaly on octreotide lar
By Z.Yu. Khalimova and S.S. Issaeva.
Abstract
Long-acting somatostatin analogues (SSAs) are the mainstay of first-line andadjuvant medical therapy in acromegaly, yet biochemical control is achieved at markedly variablerates and over unpredictable timeframes across published cohorts. Reliable, readily availablepredictors of who will remit, and how quickly, remain incompletely defined.
