Environmental and Lifestyle Modifiers of Alzheimer’s Disease in Animal Models: AD-EM Pilot Materials
By Suzanne Suleiman and Malcolm Robert Macleod.
Abstract
This project brings together materials from the AD-EM pilot, which examined the feasibility of systematically synthesising animal research on how environmental and lifestyle factors influence Alzheimer’s disease-related cognition and pathology. It includes the pilot protocol and research framework, annotation guide and quantitative analysis report. These materials underpin a proposed systematic review investigating exposure-specific effects, biological susceptibility and intervention timing, with the longer-term aim of informing prevention and intervention research alongside human evidence.
