Abstract
Objective
This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy, success rates, and associated complication profiles of ESWL for renal calculi across specialized urology centers in Baghdad, Iraq, utilizing simulated multi-center clinical data.
Method
A retrospective-simulated cohort of 300 patients (180 males, 120 females; mean age 43.2 ± 11.5 years) treated with modern electromagnetic and piezoelectric lithotripters over a 12-month period was analyzed. Stone parameters, stone-free rates (SFR) at 3 months post-procedure, session requirements, and complication indices were statistically evaluated.
