Abstract
The role of the GH/IGF-1 axis in breast cancer pathogenesis was studied in 100 women of the Khorezm region. Elevated IGF-1 was associated with low tumor differentiation grade, HER2-positive status, and poorer response to neoadjuvant therapy; the diagnostic value of IGF-1 (AUC=0.681) for detecting aggressive disease forms was established. A risk-stratification algorithm integrating hormonal and morphological parameters is proposed. Objective - to assess the role of the GH/IGF-1 axis in the clinical, morphological, and molecular features of breast cancer (BC) in women of the Khorezm region and to determine the diagnostic value of IGF-1 for risk stratification of aggressive disease course.
