E-SCOPE-DELPHI: A Delphi workshop on ethical, legal and social issues in personalised medicine
By Delphine Azéma, Emmanuelle Rial‐Sebbag, Else Marit Inderberg and 1 others.
Abstract
E-SCOPE-DELPHI is a modified Delphi study examining the most pressing ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI) in personalised medicine in Europe. It aims at identifying recommendations that a mixed stakeholder panel can agree on. During a three-day in-person workshop, participants from research, clinical practice, patient organisations, research ethics committees and technology will develop proposals across four themes and assess them through two anonymous rating rounds with structured feedback and deliberation. The study will produce a ranked set of key issues and a record of consensus, rejected and no-consensus recommendations.
