Abstract
Introduction
Hypertension is a disease that is characterized by high levels of systolic or diastolic blood pressure. Hypertension is a clinical syndrome characterized by elevated blood pressure levels equal to or greater than 140 mm Hg systolic pressure or 90 mm Hg diastolic. Identifies several risk factors for high blood pressure, such as heredity, age, gender, ethnic group, educational level, socioeconomic status, obesity, alcohol consumption, smoking and use of oral contraceptives.
Objective
The aim of this study is to evaluate the therapeutic effect of biomagnetism in cases of hypertension; study the variation pressure against the treatment with magnets and see if the biomagnetism can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Methodology: The study included six individuals identified with pressure above 140 / 90mmHg, aged 30 to 60 years treated at the Orthopedic Center of Viana. The study was done with the consent and signature of the patients and other inclusion and exclusion requirements for the study.
