By Jostin Josué Segura-López and Abdón Carrera Rivera.
Abstract
Introduction
In youth football, passing accuracy is fundamental and requires integrating technical execution with perception and decision-making in game situations.
Objective
To determine the effects of a possession-based training program on passing accuracy in U-15 football players from the Jimmy Andrade Training Club in Guayaquil.
Method
A quantitative study was conducted, with a pre-experimental design of a single group with pre and post-test measurements on 30 under-15 football players. The Loughborough Soccer Passing Test (LSPT), the F-MARC Short Passing Test, and a technical-tactical observation guide were used for this purpose.
