Abstract
Powerlifting is a strength sport in which competitive performance is determined through three main contents: squat, bench press, and deadlift. Athletes must exert maximal effort in each attempt to achieve the best possible results. During the research, we took a survey of 38 male student-athletes aged 18–22 participating in the Phenikaa Powerlifting II competition, and we examined the correlations between athletes' anthropometric indicators calculated using the Wilks Formula and their competitive performance. Statistical analyses were conducted using JASP software, employing Pearson correlation, linear regression, and the adjusted R² coefficient. The study developed four univariate linear regression equations to predict peak performance. These findings provide a basis for proposing selection criteria and guiding the development of the student powerlifting community.
