Therapeutic management of abdominal trauma

This narrative review summarizes the management of blunt and penetrating abdominal trauma, emphasizing hemodynamic status, peritonitis, and injury characteristics as key determinants of treatment. It discusses nonoperative management, angioembolization, laparoscopy, laparotomy, and damage-control strategies. Timely hemorrhage control, appropriate resuscitation, continuous reassessment, and multidisciplinary care are highlighted as essential components of individualized treatment.
