Abstract
Background
Stroke frequently results in impaired balance and gait, limiting functional mobility and independence. Although conventional balance training improves postural control, combining it with motor imagery training (MIT) may enhance motor learning and functional recovery. However, evidence regarding the combined intervention in individuals with subacute stroke remains limited.
Objective
To determine the effect of balance training combined with motor imagery training on balance and gait velocity in individuals with subacute stroke, compared with balance training alone.
