Abstract
ABSTRACT Background: Pelvi-acetabular fractures are catastrophic skeletal injuries resulting from high-energy impacts. Understanding the socio-demographic variables of affected populations is essential to tailoring preventative public health strategies and structural trauma response frameworks. This study evaluates the socio-demographic profile and injury mechanisms of patients presenting with pelvi-acetabular fractures. Materials and Methods: A hospital-based prospective observational study was undertaken in the Department of Orthopaedics at a tertiary care center in Jaipur. Data concerning key variables including age cohorts, gender distribution, occupational background, residential status, and specific mechanisms of injury were meticulously collected and categorized using structured proformas.
