Does shaving pubic hair reduce the risk of catheter-related urinary tract infections?
By Tripdatabase.
Abstract
No direct evidence for the impact of shaving pubic hair on catheter-related urinary tract infections was identified. Existing studies suggest pubic hair may have a protective role against recurrent UTIs, but further research is needed to evaluate its relationship with catheter-related infections specifically.
