Immune mechanisms of reperfusion syndrome in ischemic stroke following systemic intravenous thrombolytic therapy
By Акмал Рустамович Ярашев and Eshonov O.Sh..
Abstract
The development of reperfusion syndrome following systemic thrombolytic therapy was associated with a progressive immunoinflammatory imbalance, manifested by a sequential increase in IL-6, IL-10, and the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). The findings suggest that the combination of a dynamic rise in IL-6 and NLR may serve as a potential laboratory marker for an adverse post-reperfusion course and outcome. Longitudinal monitoring of IL-6, IL-10, and NLR holds greater diagnostic and prognostic value than a single measurement taken at admission.
