The significance of a medico-pedagogical digital software program in the early detection of chronic disease risks among children of migrant families
By Mirzayeva Makhpora Mamadalievna.
Abstract
Today, labor migration brings to the forefront not only economic issues, but also significant medico-social and pedagogical challenges. In particular, the health of preschool-aged children growing up in migrant families requires special attention. In such children, irregular nutrition, frequent morbidity, disrupted immunization schedules, psycho-emotional distress, and difficulties in speech and social adaptation often manifest in a closely interconnected manner. Consequently, relying on a single clinical symptom or an isolated complaint is insufficient when evaluating their health status. A comprehensive, rapid, and practically convenient assessment system is essential. Driven by this need, a medico-pedagogical digital software program tailored for children aged 3–7 years has been developed. The software allows for the input of baseline child data, medico-biological status, perinatal factors, socio-hygienic environment, immunoprophylaxis records, psycho-emotional and cognitive development indicators, as well as psychosomatic symptoms. As a result, an overall risk index, primary risk domains, and targeted medico-pedagogical guidelines are generated.
