Abstract
No direct evidence for the effectiveness of ASOT likelihood ratio in diagnosing post-streptococcal rheumatic heart disease was found. ASOT is part of routine serologic testing for confirming previous streptococcal infection, crucial to diagnosing conditions like ARF that can lead to RHD.
