Which medications are effective in reducing the incidence of acute pancreatitis in patients with hypertriglyceridemia?
By Tripdatabase.
Abstract
While fibrates and omega-3 fatty acids are supported by moderate evidence for reducing triglyceride levels and possibly lowering pancreatitis risk in hypertriglyceridemia, novel therapies targeting triglyceride metabolism show promise but require further validation. Direct evidence for medication efficacy in pancreatitis prevention remains limited.
