Downstaging breast cancer in uzbekistan: Aligning national early-detection strategy with the WHO global breast cancer initiative
By Sobirova Umida Qo'ziboy qizi.
Abstract
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy among women worldwide, yet its burden is distributed unequally: survival is shaped less by incidence than by the stage at which the disease is detected and the speed with which treatment begins. This thesis examines the problem of late-stage presentation in Uzbekistan through the lens of the World Health Organization Global Breast Cancer Initiative (GBCI) and proposes a phased, resource-adapted model of early detection suited to the national health system.
