Modern clinical and laboratory methods for evaluating immunological and genetic compatibility in organ transplantation
By Vafoyeva Nodira.
Abstract
This article provides a comparative analysis of the global experience in laboratory methods for the early detection of immunological conflicts between the donor and recipient in organ transplantation. Observations indicate that while the traditional CDC-crossmatch method retains its historical significance, relying on it without the use of solid-phase Luminex technologies (PRA, LSA) can lead to significantly erroneous conclusions. The article highlights the comparative advantages and clinical sensitivity of these methods, as well as the regional prospects for implementing the "Virtual Crossmatch" algorithm into clinical practice.
