Abstract
Metanephric neoplasms (MNs) represent an uncommon subset of benign renal tumors, encompassing entities such as metanephric adenoma, metanephric stromal tumor (MST), and metanephric adenofibroma. Despite the limitations of radiological modalities in accurately differentiating these lesions, their characteristic histopathological architecture and unique immunohistochemical markers are crucial for establishing a definitive diagnosis and distinguishing them from other renal malignancies. In this case report, we describe the diagnostic and treatment process for a 25-year-old woman who was incidentally diagnosed with an MST after undergoing a radical nephrectomy, backed by an analysis of recent research.
