Abstract
Objective
To describe a combined anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and posterolateral corner (PLC) reconstruction technique designed to address technical challenges associated with multiligament knee injuries.
Methods
A technical reconstruction method is presented using autologous hamstring tendons for ACL reconstruction and the peroneus longus tendon for anatomic PLC reconstruction. The technique employs a single shared femoral tunnel for both the ACL and fibular collateral ligament, aiming to reduce the risk of femoral tunnel convergence and minimize the need for multiple fixation devices.
