Abstract
ABSTRACT Ganglioneuroma (GN) may be misdiagnosed as neurofibroma when core needle biopsy samples only contain Schwannian stroma without mature ganglion cells. Even giant cervicothoracic GNs may be resectable through a transcervical approach alone. Recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy and Horner syndrome are foreseeable, anatomically predictable risks requiring dedicated preoperative counseling.
