Selective Dual Apical Surgery for Adjacent Immature and Mature Upper Incisors With a Large Periapical Lesion: A 4‐Year Follow‐Up Case Report
By Saeed Asgary.
Abstract
ABSTRACT Conservative dual apical surgery without conventional orthograde root canal treatment, as well as root‐end resection/preparation/filing/sealing, can successfully manage large periapical lesions involving adjacent immature and mature teeth. This hypothesis‐generating observation suggests bioactive root‐end filling may reduce treatment burden in carefully selected cases, but further studies are needed.
