Abstract
ABSTRACT An 18‐year‐old male had persistent tachycardia after blunt abdominal trauma. CT signs raised suspicion of main pancreatic duct disruption in the tail (suspected AAST Grade III). Exploratory laparotomy confirmed ductal transection, managed by spleen‐preserving distal pancreatectomy. Six‐month follow‐up showed no fistula or clinical pancreatic insufficiency.
