Résumé
Background
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and acute cerebral infarction (ACI) are globally prevalent diseases that impose substantial public health burdens. While gut microbiota (GM) is increasingly recognized to regulate metabolic and immune homeostasis linked to both diseases, its shared genetically predicted microbial taxa and underlying metabolite-gene regulatory mechanisms in T2DM and ACI remain unclear, highlighting the need for systematic investigation. Accordingly, this study aimed to elucidate their regulatory mechanisms.
