Résumé
Background: Glomerular diseases are a heterogeneous group of disorders with highly variable clinical outcomes, ranging from spontaneous remission to progressive kidney failure. Traditional prognostic tools, including proteinuria, serum creatinine, and semiquantitative histopathologic scoring, capture only part of this complexity. In particular, they often reduce longitudinal patient data to static baseline measurements, discarding valuable information about disease trajectories, rate of change, and temporal variability. Machine learning (ML) has emerged as a promising analytical framework capable of addressing these limitations by processing time-series data, modeling nonlinear relationships, integrating multimodal data, and generating individualized risk estimates.
