Résumé
Introduction: Current depression psychotherapies are not optimised for individuals with co-occurring identity, emotional and interpersonal difficulties (sometimes conceptualised as personality difficulties or disorder), which we term ‘complex depression’. There is a need to develop enhanced psychotherapies for complex depression that repair symptoms, functioning and well-being. A novel wellbeing-focused therapy was codesigned with experts by experience: Augmented Depression Therapy for complex depression (ADepT+).
