Preliminary Comparative Study of λ-shaped Technique for Treating Infectious Classic Preauricular Sinus

Résumé
Background
Treatment of infected preauricular sinuses presents a challenge in balancing complete eradication and cosmetic outcomes.
Methods
A retrospective analysis was conducted on pediatric patients treated between January 2016 and January 2023. Patients were divided into the λ group (n = 186) and the parallel group (n = 78) based on surgical technique. Outcomes included granulation width, surgery time, infection rate, scar score, recurrence rate, and tragus displacement.
