Résumé
The introduction and usage of novel therapies and monoclonal antibodies in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) resulted in the achievement of higher survival rates in these patients. Recently, inotuzumab ozogamicin (InO), a CD22 antibody, received approval for pediatric ALL, and the first results published from studies worldwide are encouraging, especially in patients with relapsed or refractory (r/r) disease. In our study, the case series presented consists of three pediatric patients with ALL that relapsed after the first treatment of the disease. The three children with r/r acute lymphoblastic leukemia underwent treatment with InO. All of them, after 1 or 2 immunotherapy cycles with InO, achieved negative MRD and did not present any treatment-related toxicities. In our retrospective study, InO was shown to be a safe and effective treatment for r/r B-ALL in pediatric patients.
