Résumé
Introduction
The data describing circulating sclerostin (SCL) levels in peripheral artery disease (PAD), carotid artery disease (CD), and aneurysms are inconsistent. We aimed to assess the performance of serum SCL levels as a biomarker of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), PAD, and CD. Subjects and Methods: We conducted a single-center, cross-sectional study evaluating serum SCL levels (using ELISA) across different atherosclerosis phenotypes. We retrieved information from medical records on age, current smoking status, comorbidities, medications, lipid profile, and serum creatinine levels.
