Resumen
Background
Dexmedetomidine, a selective 2-adrenoceptor agonist, has emerged as a promising adjuvant in spinal anesthesia. This study aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of three intrathecal dexmedetomidine doses (5, 7.5, and 10 mcg) as adjuvants to 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine in patients undergoing total abdominal hysterectomy.
